SPAC adds Beth Jones to board in membership role, opens early event registration

The board of the School Photographers of California (SPAC) announced the addition of Beth Jones of Best Eye Photography, Oneida, Calif., to board ins a new “membership” role. Jones will also serve a liaison with speakers for SPAC events.

Speaking of events, SPAC has launched early registration for its annual S{AC 2-19 conference Jan. 23-26, 2019, at the South Point Hotel & Casino Conference Center Las Vegas. Early-bird registration, ending Oct. 31, is $249 per person. Pre-conference tracks are available for $50 and group discounts are available for four or more from the same company.

In other news, the group will host its first European event Sept. 28 in conjunction with Photokina. SPAC Europe will be at the Allegro Room for the Cologne Exhibition Center (Kölnmesse) beginning at 1:30 p.m. There are only 80 attendees allowed.
